  • The facility to take orders directly from our publishers’ websites, thus allowing greater accessibility to the buying public.

  • The ability to upload eBook sales files direct from aggregators

  • Implementation of “Non-conformance” returns processing within BATCH

  • A “direct debit” facility for end-users with annual subscription requirements

  • Proactive monitoring of EDI traffic to understand key account order patterns and identify pricing anomalies

  • Early implementation of promotional returns functionality in line with IRI (Industry Returns Initiative) guidelines

  • Development of Where Is My Order (WIMO) enquiry arrangements for internal and external customers

  • A web based order entry portal for publishers to enter credit/debit card orders directly into MDL’s commercial systems

  • The use of ASNs (Advanced Supply Notifications) with printers in-bound and key accounts out-bound

  • The ability to receive spreadsheets and download them directly into our ordering and returns systems.
