Were you ready for E-day?  1 May 2008 was designated as E-day by the book industry. All transactions between trading partners within the UK and Ireland should now be carried out electronically.  Not only is this a more efficient way of trading, but it will also have a major impact on our collective carbon footprint.  Electronic transactions are quicker, more accurate and often cheaper than traditional alternatives. The industry offers a number of ways for customers to trade electronically, many of which are free to the customer.  Read more information on how to join the e4books revolution, and how to streamline your own processes which provides all the alternatives currently available. Also see the e4books website.
