You can check availability on the PubEasy website without logging in. If you would like to register in order to place orders please note you do not need your MDL account number to do so.

You need to be a Nielsen BookData Online subscriber to search, check availability and order.  Login or experience a free trial or use BookNet Teleordering.  Nielsen Book's BookData Online, BookNet TeleOrdering and BookNet EDI allow you to trade electronically.  Read more.

Publisher clients can order direct using the email facility for trade or direct customer orders or via PubEasy.  If you have not been set up to use PubEasy to order your samples, please contact your Client Services representative.

Participating customers have access to our title data for price and availability queries, are able to query their past orders and can enter orders directly into our computer system. This provides them with 24-hour-a-day access to data.  This service is completely free except for the local telephone call charges to your Internet provider.

A central PubEasy site allows access to all the other participating book distributors’ sites as well as providing centralised price and availability and ordering.

PubEasy and Batch.co.uk have now integrated their systems so that customers can manage the entire order fulfilment process and payment process from one place.  MDL see this as a major development in the quest for electronic transactions as we move ever closer to e4books day because the customer now has a virtual one-stop shop to carry out all of these activities.  Read more.

MDL already communicates with many leading customers and suppliers using EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) systems, reducing errors on transcription and removing barriers to speedy processing. It is our aim to offer a good spread of electronic ordering facilities, to make electronic ordering as easy and straightforward as possible. We are a committed user of BookNet Teleordering and BookNet EDI Services.

MDL was the first major distributor to install BookNet electronic trading sercices  which is now available via BookData Online – providing access to bibliographic data, sales ranking (from BookScan) and online ordering and tracking in one service.  Other distributors and wholesalers have also joined the service.

Nielsen BookData Online provides UK and overseas booksellers with a fully interactive exchange of information combining BookNet TeleOrdering with BookData bibliographic search facilities, ordering, order tracking for up to 6 months and real time supplier data. Nielsen Book’s services: BookData Online, BookNet TeleOrdering and EDI services give booksellers the ability to manage their orders online from their PCs.
